Snazzy Hand Sanitizer

So some hand sanitizer's are just too plan these little
beauties I added to an overnight
party favor bag.
So cute for a teenage spa party favor.

Here is what you'll need:
Hand Sanitizer
1/4 yard of any fabric
Silk or Paper Flowers (scrap booking section of the craft store is the best)
Buttons
Hot glue gun

Cut your fabric to fit the front of the sanitizer then fray the ends by pulling the threads of the fabric. Hot glue the fabric onto the bottle and then add the flower and the button.
So cute and fun to do and takes under an hour to make a dozen.

Simple Diaper Cake

What You will Need:

69 size twoPampers
4 Inch thick ribbon
One Glitter letter
69 Clear hair Rubber bands
One bottle and filler for bottle (candy)
One 8 Inch or bigger cake cardboard base
Box of White Pearlized pins (You can use more as dots)
Hot Glue

First roll the diapers print side first into little rolls attach a rubber band
Second place diapers on the cardboard top side down with the print facing the inside
wrap the ribbon around and fold over about a 1/4 of an inch then add the pins.
Continue First and Second steps for the next two tears adding less diapers each time.
As a topper add a cute bow I attached mine with some pins and glued on the letter.

You can put your diaper cake on a lovely cake plate as the centerpiece of your baby shower table or wrap it up in cellophane and gift it to the mommy to be.

Mason Jar Favors

You will need:
A Mason Jar
Some Nuts any kind
Dried Fruit
Chocolate Covered Nuts
1/2 yard of fabric

When you begin take all of the lids off of the jars and line up the jars side by side
Pour the smallest pieces first in this case that is the peanuts then the largest, end with the chocolate.
Make sure when you are adding the ingredients to tap the jar on the table to make sure it is even.

Bachlorette Bag

A very unique Bachelorette favor.
With all of the overnight essentials this favor is sure to stand out with a coffee mug with a cute animation of the couple and some cute sticky notes donning the same animation along with a wine label on a bottle of wine this is an overnight bag that is one of a kind. The bags were filled with snacks and stationary gum and lip gloss. They were so fun to do and each gal got black pjs except the bride hers were white. Super Cute!

Tea Season is upon us!!!

With Many a Tea party under my belt it is hard for me to find inspiration out there that is amazing, but this just did it! Pay close attention to the wacky little googly eyed flowers and the cups stacked so originally with lace and ribbons and feathers. You don't need a real cake as a topper just Fake a cake with ribbon cardboard and some stickers. It's so simple and cute and if you don't have the cute room as the back drop Pipe and drape is always adorable with some pvc pipe which is so cheap and some cute fabric and some clamps from the hardware store you can have a unique background setting any time! Don't forget to cover it up with boas. My favorite accessory for a tea party. For some great yummy treats go to http://www.joyofbaking.com/EnglishTeaParty.html so scrumptious. And of course your invites will have to be original the example below is amazing! Below behind the big bling cookie you will see an original invitation creation. I am a big fan of boxed invites they are so original still and you can get tiny boxes at a craft store or online in all kinds of colors at www.nashvillewraps.com. Cute 3X3 squares four per invite and then attache with ribbon and stick them in your box with a plastic tea cup from a birthday express.

Ok Absolutely adorable with the popular Alice and Wonderland tea party theme I found this adorable set up for a great tea party at http://www.nofussfabulous.com. Too absolutely fabulous!

Color

I was a little scared when my little client wanted neon colors but these cupcakes from the local grocery store (if you could believe it!) were both inexpensive and cute and we even got an 8 inch round cake with the same colors.

A Wedding at the Rancho Santa Fe Inn!

So here is a great example of an inexpensive candy table done for a wedding in the Ranch. I did this and created this from scratch with a very low budget. I incorporated the candy bars and the mints and added marshmello's, m and m's White chocolate truffles and boxed chocolate cups, and french cones to shove it all in!!!! The men loved the cones they stuffed them full and I saw a lot of them put them in their shirt pockets and present them to their dates at the wedding. It was darling. I use super thick ribbon and the same pearl stickers they actually come in a row just as you see on the glass cylinders. These Cylinders are inexpensive here in San Diego at Wholesale flowers which is open to the public or for you vendors Shinoda of course.

It's all in the Details!

Add these to your candy table for just under 20 bucks! Ok you have all seen the candies that are sold at drugs stores in the red bags that say Just 99cents. These are those with a face lift. I got 10 bags here and some small cellophane bags for candies on the candy aisle at the craft store. Again details details details!!!!! I got colored paper from the scrapbooking aisle and mixed it up colors and prints in the samee pallet and just added the details small pearl sticker. Add stones, crosses a child or loved ones name a sticker. You can also do this with fabric! For fabric staple the bag together and then cover the staple with a cute button. Do this with the kids for a unique Valentine!

This is an easy and elegant look for any party. The Candy table! In years past you had to order or print your own candy bar labels. I even thought that because the candy bars don't come in paper and foil that this might not look as good. I was wrong. These were so cute and inexpensive. I just picked out a color theme and since prints usually are more expensive I purchased less of the prints and more corresponding colors of paper from the craft store and then cut to size. The pearls on each add a little extra but you can use a jewel too. The pearls are stickers that came in a set of 36 pearls. I purchased the plexi glass at the local hardware store and purched the plexi glass on four square shot glasses. You can do this at a birthday party and add the childs name simply in the center.

To Braise or not to Braise?

I took a great cooking class at William Sonoma today on Braising. It actually is very simple and I am so excited to try it at home. I realized all the pans I had been cooking on needed to be thrown out. They are nice pans, but the non stick element even if peeling a touch could be harmful to your health. I also learned that William is still alive in Northern Ca. he actually goes to work everyday and is over 90 years old. He also contributes to most of the elements of the store and almost entirely to the cook book lines at William Sonoma. I realized also that cooking at high temperatures is a big no no! Oops!!!! I signed up for more classes, they are Free, and so informative. Plus you get to taste the yummy food! The d5 cookware is amazing I can't wait to collect all of the pieces. You might think what in the world does this have to do with event planning. Well, it is so important for you private party planners, brides to be and others to know what your food, the focal point of most events has been cooked on and how it was cooked. Until today truthfully I had no idea what braising was. In a word it is, slow cooking. Which can be done in the oven on the stovetop or in a slowcooker. It makes your choice of meat so tender and I was able to eat it with a plastic fork on a paper plate. Absolutely amazing!

Wedding in the Ranch

What a great way to give a favor to a guest. The sheets of wax come in lots of colors at your local craft store. The ribbon does too! For larger quantities search the web for ribbon my favorite is www.nashvillewraps.com, you can have a saying or your names printed right on the ribbon. This was a great wedding that I had the pleasure to be invited to as well as to help in! To roll the candle stick favors have a girls night!
